The Committee provides oversight of the maintenance, repair, replacement and improvements of the grounds of the HOA consistent with the Bylaws, CC&Rs and Residential Guidelines and provides advice and counsel to the BOD on matters related to all Common Areas, green spaces, wetlands, and retention ponds as defined in Section 1.5 of the CC&Rs. Recent News
New HOA Landscape Contractor
 
The HOA Grounds Committee is pleased to introduce a new landscape maintenance contractor to Canterwood. After requesting proposals in the spring and interviewing applicants, the committee selected SS Landscaping Services which began service in Canterwood on Oct. 1. Family-owned and operated for more than 40 years, SS Landscaping manages commercial and large-scale residential properties throughout Pierce, King and Kitsap counties. Other current clients include Heron’s Key, MultiCare and Museum of Flight.
 
SS Landscaping crews will be working in Canterwood three days a week with a focus on the 48 Common Areas, which include vehicle and RV entry gates, parks, and playground areas. Their scope of work includes turf maintenance, irrigation systems, weed control, storm clean-up, and pruning of ornamental trees and shrubs.
