Juvenile Curfew Program Regulations
PURPOSE:
The HOA has adopted the Juvenile Curfew Program to reduce acts of vandalism within the community.
GENERAL PROVISIONS:
From the hours of 11:00pm to 6:00am each day, individuals under the age of 18 are restricted to their own property.
Several exceptions to this provision exist:
- Minors may be transported to or from Canterwood or escorted to another property by a parent, guardian, or extended family member who is not also a minor and with the consent of the other property owner.
- Minors engaged in commercial activities or legal employment must proceed directly home at the conclusion of those activities.
- Minors involved in an emergency.
- Minors going to, or returning from an official school, religious, or civic activity, which takes responsibility for the minor.
- Minors who are married and thus have achieved the age of majority.
VIOLATIONS:
Parents or legal guardians will be notified of violations. Repeat violations will result in review and recommendation by the Security Advisory Committee for appropriate action by the Board.
