The HOA wants to hear from you!
Mail thefts. Porch pirates. Car prowls. While the frequency of these crimes is much lower in Canterwood than in other areas of Gig Harbor, we need to be aware and vigilant as more residential development brings new neighbors all around us. Despite gated entries and security personnel, our private community can be an appealing target for pilferers and prowlers.
Responding to some residents' concerns, the Canterwood HOA Board has asked its Safety and Security Committee (SSC) to evaluate our current security policies/procedures, to explore and recommend new technology and/or practices for improving security, and to assess attitudes/opinions about security across our community.
The SSC has engaged a professional security expert to help with the review and evaluation, but prior to making any recommendations the consultant and committee would like to hear from residents. What are your concerns? What, if anything, needs to change? Are you willing to pay for increased security - and live with added inconvenience?
Your responses to a brief Resident Survey will help inform the SSC and HOA Board as this project moves forward. Thanks for taking a few minutes to give us your feedback about security in Canterwood.
